How do you know what to major in in your university studies? Human Dynamic welcomed Clelia, a student from Switzerland, for a three-day internship in June. Considering majoring in psychology, Cleila wanted to gain first-hand insight into working in the field of mental health support. Over the course of three days, she explored the day-to-day work of our team, attended a client workshop, and gained behind-the-scenes experience of how our company operates. Our goal was not to present an idealised version of the profession, but to give her the opportunity to experience its everyday reality – from the variety of tasks and collaborative work to the challenges that naturally come with the role. Cleila, thank you for your curiosity, your thoughtful questions, and your openness throughout the internship. We wish you success in your journey ahead!
Does your life feel like a marathon with hurdles? Our CEO recently joined TV host Iveta Malachovská on Dámsky klub (Women’s Club) TV show to talk about exhaustion that goes beyond healthy limits. How can we recognize the warning signs early, and how can we recharge our batteries even when we only have 15 minutes a day for ourselves? A gentle reminder that rest should not be a reward for performance, but a natural part of everyday life. The conversation, full of practical tips and real-life examples, is available in the STVR archive and starts around the 60th minute: Does your life feel like a marathon with hurdles? Let’s be honest – do you truly allow yourself to rest? Many of us still view rest as an unnecessary or unattainable luxury, while the constant pressure to perform – at work and at home – leaves us feeling drained, frustrated, and at times even heading toward burnout. Is it possible to improve the quality of our daily lives without being weighed down by guilt or a sense of failure? These questions were at the heart of a practical and interactive workshop filled with insights and sharing of personal experience, led by our CEO Miriam Lacho in collaboration with coach Petra Holic in Bratislava. The active participation, lively discussions, and the energy in the room once again showed that this topic resonates with nearly all of us. The event was supported by Human Dynamic Europe and organized by AmCham Slovakia.
Human Dynamic Europe feels strongly about corporate social responsibility (CSR), thus supports various centers, nonprofit organizations and projects connected with mental health, either directly or indirectly. Usually, these projects benefit people who otherwise would not be able to afford this care, or we provide them with something special to enjoy. It is the smile and joy in their eyes that are the greatest reward for us.
