Pavlína received her degree in European Studies and Political Science from the Faculty of Arts of the Palacký University in Olomouc and received the Master’s Degree in International Relations from Loughborough University. She completed the long-term psychotherapy training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (SUR) with an art therapy focus and completed several other trainings, such as Working with the Body in Psychotherapy; Psychosocial Skills in the Counseling Process; Working with Trauma in Children and Adults; Relapse Prevention; Crisis Intervention.
Pavlína has several years of experience with clients with various types of addictions and with leading a team in a therapeutic center in social services. She works with both individuals and couples. Therapy taught her to better recognize her ambitions and potential, but also to accept her limits. Recognize what can change and what can't, as well as greater sensitivity, love and respect for yourself. She projects these principles and experience into her work, which is based on psychodynamic psychotherapy. It is important for her to create a relationship with the client based on safety, trust and respect. She focuses on the clients’ needs, joint search for resources, strength, possibilities and potential for change, offering support and guidance in challenging life situations. She supports clients with various topics, such as anxiety, panic, depression, depersonalization and derealization, partner issues, relationship addiction, intimacy, crisis, psycho-spiritual crisis, loss of a loved one, self-esteem, self-awareness, addictive behavior, stress, burnout syndrome, bullying, abuse, finding a meaning in life. She consults in the Czech language.
