Martin received his Master’s Degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. Since 2019, he has been working as a psychologist in healthcare at the Psychiatric Clinic of the Brno University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine, where he specializes in psychotherapy and psycho-diagnosis. He is also engaged in Doctoral Studies in the field of Neuroscience with a focus on research and treatment using transcranial magnetic stimulation and research on neural mechanisms of impulsivity, especially in patients with borderline personality disorders, ADHD, and other difficulties. He has completed a comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Psychotherapy (DBT) led by the British Isles DBT Training in Great Britain and is currently completing psychotherapy training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (International Institute of CBT Odyssea). In his work, Martin focuses on the treatment of anxiety disorders (severe anxiety, OCD, generalized anxiety disorder, panic attacks and others), problems with intense unstable emotions, self-harm and suicidality. He is regularly supervised by local and foreign supervisors. He is dedicated to develop professionally in the field of mental health, actively participates in foreign and domestic professional conferences, and lectures at the Faculty of Medicine. He consults in Czech and English.
