Marie received her Master’s Degree in Psychology at Palacký University. During her studies, she was interested in accompanying people in difficult life situations, working with the dying and crisis intervention. She completed the comprehensive psychotherapy training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and is currently completing the training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for working with trauma or other burdensome memories. She has been working as a school psychologist at an elementary school for six years, besides gaining professional experience at the Center for Family Life, where she provided psychological counseling to individuals, couples and families. She has her own counseling and psychotherapy practice since 2022. She also created and lectured a twelve-week course for beginning psychologists. Her way of working is characterized by great respect for the client when instead of analyzing problems in detail and finding their causes, it focuses more on describing and examining the client's goals, resources and progress. Most often, clients turn to her with relationship problems, anxieties, stress or topics of their own self-development. She consults in the Czech language.
